Our Story: From Passion to Purpose
Ecoland Travel was founded by three friends united by one deep passion—the nature, history, and culture of Kyrgyzstan. For years, we explored our country together, traveling through its mountains, valleys, and remote villages, constantly discovering the unique beauty that makes this land so special.
Along the way, friends from overseas often asked us to help them experience Kyrgyzstan the way we do. At first, we simply guided them as friends—sharing our favorite places, stories, and traditions. Seeing the joy in their eyes when they stood before our breathtaking landscapes was unforgettable.
However, as we spent more time with local herding families, we witnessed a deeper story. We experienced their incredible warmth and a way of life that, for generations, has followed the rhythm of the seasons in close balance with nature. At the same time, we began to notice a growing challenge: many young people were leaving the grasslands for the cities, and traditional tourism was not always benefiting these local communities.
This realization changed everything. What began as genuine hospitality gradually grew into a calling. We decided to turn our passion into meaningful work—creating Ecoland Travel to offer professional, thoughtful, and responsible experiences. We wanted to build a bridge that would help more people discover this beauty while ensuring our travels were safe, sustainable, and respectful.

After majoring in Chinese and working as an English and Chinese translator, I realized that my true passion lay in connecting people through culture. Since 2020, I have been a KATO-certified guide, leading both group and private tours across the landscapes I love. By blending my professional background with my deep roots in Kyrgyzstan, I’ve dedicated my career to being a bridge between my home country and the world, ensuring that every traveler feels understood and cared for.
As a traveler myself, I find my peace in the embrace of our mountains and lakes, whether on a rugged hike or a horseback ride. I specialize in cultural and adventure tours because I believe in the beauty of a “simple life”—the kind found in the authentic traditions and hospitality of our rural communities. I graduated from China University of Geosciences with a degree in Management and have long been involved in tourism development in Central Asia. Years ago, during my first journey across the Kyrgyz steppes, I experienced the peaceful rhythm of nomadic life — riding across open pastures, staying in yurts, and sharing simple evenings of milk tea and conversation with herding families. These experiences deeply moved me and inspired a lasting interest in the connection between nature, culture, and travel.
Over time, I also saw the challenges faced by local communities, as many young people left the grasslands and tourism often developed without benefiting local families or protecting the environment. This inspired me to focus on ecotourism and community-based travel, creating journeys that allow travelers to experience authentic nomadic life while supporting local herders and preserving the natural landscape.
I hope to use tourism as a bridge between different cultures, helping more people appreciate nature, understand diverse traditions, and respect local ways of life.
